These terms govern your use of Klaai, which is built and owned by Buzzerboy, a company based in Canada. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. The service
Klaai provides web-based double-entry bookkeeping with an API, CLI, and an AI assistant (Claude) that can record and categorize transactions. You are responsible for reviewing entries and for the accuracy of your books.
2. Plans & billing
Paid plans are billed in Canadian dollars. Plan tiers are based on annual revenue and included users, as shown on our pricing page. Revenue tiers are self-reported and verified annually. You can cancel at any time; your data remains exportable.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Review transactions recorded by Claude before relying on them.
- Ensure your use complies with applicable Canadian tax and accounting obligations.
4. Not accounting or tax advice
Klaai is software, not an accountant. Reports it generates (including GST/HST summaries) are tools to assist you and your accountant, not professional advice or a substitute for filing obligations with the CRA.
5. Availability
We work to keep Klaai available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update features over time.
6. Data ownership
Your data is yours. We claim no ownership over your bookkeeping records and provide export at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Klaai and Buzzerboy are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
